1.2.3 Update!

Oh, sorry I was busy lately so I didn't have time to post posts on the blog, However, Here is a quick news for you lucky minecrafters! 1.2.3 is out!
Here are the details-
*Added cat
*Added Oslots (spelling...)
*tripled the max building level
*Brand new and better AI (Artificial Intelligence) for mobs and animals
*Jungle biome added
*Added Iron golem
...
This is all I know on the top of my brain... Sorry

Crafting basics PT.2

Okay now that you have a work bench let's get some achievements done. First you have to get a lot of resources such as cobblestone. Cobblestone can't be obtained by hand. If you try then you waste your time. So get a wooden pickaxe. First you have to get 2 sticks. put two wooden planks in the simple crafting table then put it like this one plank on one side then one plank at the top. Then you go over to the big crafting table. After you do that but 2 sticks in the square in the middle and the middle bottom. Then put three wooden planks in the top three then you got your self a wooden pickaxe. Every thing is the same for any resources.

Crafting basic 1.

Before you make a house you have to make some tool. However if you go on Youtube and search some videos, you can see that most of the videos are in Minecraft Alfa or other earlier versions. Now that technology has expanded, they have finally reached 1.0.0! In this version, creative mode has unlimited supplies of resources. So you have to go and create your world in survival. Here's a good seed for beginners=gimmeabreak

So when you first start up you have locate wood. Then make a crafting bench by putting 4 wooden planks in the 4 square by pressing E. To get wooden planks place 1 wood on the 2*2 crafting table then you will have 4 wooden planks.

A place to live......

When you first start and create a World you will have hard time finding shelters. Why? Because you don't have a lot of resources. So to start you off choose a cave, Island, Cliff, Or a terrain.

Cave- Go and get a wooden pickaxe. Mine Coals for torches. Mine a small cavern.Tip* don't get killed

Island- Dig a hole and berry your self.(Simple)

Cliff- Not really possible but follow the cave instructions. However be aware of the 600meter drop.

Terrain- make a pole then a 6by 6 platform on the tower.

* Tip * might be a good idea to get bed first.

How to make a Trap Door.

Okay the webcam was not responding so I'll do it in words.
Hello World! Or should I say people.......Anyway. This is how you build a Wooden Door Trap.
These are the things that you'll need.
*1 pressure plate (Recommend stone pressure plate. don't ask me why!).
*4 wooden doors.
*2 random blocks (Except TNT and usefull stuff like enchantment table).
You may use torches for decoration.
After you get all these resources you have to follow my instructions very carefully.
Put the pressure plate in the middle of a flat 25 blocks terrain.
Then put 3doors on each side (Right, Top, Left).
For the bottom side, put one of the random blocks above the pressure plate.
You'll see a gap and it's perfectly normal.
If you do see it your permitted to set the door on the bottom last block.
Then fly or set a block on an appropriate space so that you place a block on top of the block that's above the pressure plate.
Then destroy the bottom random block.
After you finish all these steps, try it out by going in.
Right click one of the doors to get out.
So this is basically it. I hope you enjoy it!

pressure plat is a censor when you step on it , it activates the trap or any sorts of appliances.
